The Biomedical Engineering program is offered jointly by the graduate schools of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) and the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) to train educate students in the use of basic bioengineering approaches for the investigation of fundamental biomedical questions associated with the diagnosis and treatment of human diseases. Students in this program have access to biosciences and bioengineering laboratories at both UTHSCSA and UTSA. Students interested in this program apply through UTSA.
