Departments
There are seven departments in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences: Biochemistry, Cell & Structural Biology, Microbiology & Immunology, Molecular Medicine, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Physiology. These departments recruit faculty members, organize teaching teams that provide instruction in the curricula of the School of Medicine, Dental School, School of Allied Health Sciences and the Graduate School. The departments preside over all other administrative aspects of maintaining a large and industrious group of talented faculty dedicated to graduate education. These departments and the Academic Programs are the foundation of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
