Membrane Biology & Cell Signaling

MBCSBanner.jpg
The Membrane Biology and Cell Signaling track provides state-of-the-art training in the investigation of intracellular and intercellular signaling mechanisms, and the function of membrane proteins, including channels, transporters, receptors and cell adhesion molecules. This track emphasizes the integration of biochemical, molecular, cellular, and physiological approaches and thinking in order to define pathways of cell signaling which regulate function, with the ultimate goal of understanding how the cellular and molecular mechanisms are perturbed in human disease.
