Non-degree Student Status

Non-degree student status is for individuals who wish to enroll in courses in the Graduate School without entering a formal degree program.  The basic requirements for admission are the same as those for degree-seeking students except GRE scores, letters of recommendation, and essays are not required. Students must receive approval of the Dean of the Graduate School and course directors’ permission to be admitted and to register. Students may register as a non-degree student for a maximum of four semesters.
